I chose this question because it seemed like a question that was important in this experiment.
Broad Question
Does the amount of water in a wine glass effect the pitch of it?
Specific Question
Does the amount of water in a wine glass effect the pitch of it?

Would the amount of water in a crystal wine glass effect the pitch that the wine glass makes?

Hypothesis

I believe that if you put in different amounts of water into crystal wine glasses, the they will make different sounds.

General Plan

I will just get a wine glass and fill it with water and run my fingers around the top of it and it will make different pitches of sound.

If the glass doesn't make any sound, I could bring a back-up glass.

Detailed Procedure

Well, I would buy a cup, fill it 1/4 of the way with water, and run my fingers softly and slowly around the top of the crystal cup and soon it will start to make different high pitched noises depending on the amount of water in the crystal wine glass.
